NOTE: The following summary information is to help with hike selection and is not intended to be used for hiking the trail. For your safety and enjoyment, please obtain a copy of Sedona Hiking Guide which is available here.

Summary: A hike on a narrow mountain bike trail that skirts the face of a red rock formation offering panoramic views of Sedona’s red rocks.

Challenge Level: Moderate

Hiking Distance: 2 miles each way to a great view of Cathedral Rock

Trailhead Location: In the Yavapai Vista parking area located on SR 179.

Description: The HiLine Trail is used by many bikers so you may encounter them on this narrow trail. The trail has a number of tight spots so watch your footing. You’ll have nice views of Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, Lee Mountain, Rabbit Ears, and Cathedral Rock. A good place to stop is 2 miles from the parking area. I suggest you turn around here for a 4 mile round trip hike. You can hike to the Baldwin Loop Trail.
